Scope

This product sheet defines the full matching service in the context of linking products between e-commerce websites.

Matching is carried out by the data provider using an appropriate method.

Definition

The Full Matching service:

  • Is carried out by the data provider in accordance with the client's matching principles
  • Client defines which products should be considered for matching - can be full catalogue, defined categories or a specified list of products
  • Can be carried out in combination with matches to be made by the client
  • All matches are approved before being added to the client's linkage list - this approval can be given by the data provider or by the client using the TOTAL matching application

  • Defintion of products in scope for the data provider's matching service
  • Point of contact for queries on matching principles
  • Frequency of matching activity - weekly/fortnightly/monthly/other
  • Definition of own product information - scrape or feed
